There has been a growing interest in natural beauty products such as honey, olive and coconut oil. There is a ancient chinese village HUANGLUO which is famous for having long grey-less shiny hair. This village is nicknamed as ‘Long Hair Village’. The women’s in this village have hair longer than 1.4 metres and is famous in Guinness Book of Records as world’s longest hair village.
They cut their hair at the age of 18 and wash their hair with fermented rice water – the misty coloured liquid left from boiling rice. This water if rich in various type of minerals, vitamins and antioxidants and hence it improves the elasticity and restorative properties of hair.
